How often should I water my indoor plants?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. It depends on the plant type, pot size, soil, and season. A good rule of thumb is to check the top inch of soil — if it feels dry, it’s usually time to water. We cover specific watering guides for each plant in our blog posts.

Snake plants, ZZ plants, pothos, and spider plants are some of the most forgiving options. They tolerate low light, irregular watering, and general neglect better than most others.

Yellow leaves can mean overwatering, underwatering, nutrient deficiency, or natural aging. Check the soil moisture first — it’s the most common culprit. Our blog has a detailed guide on diagnosing and fixing yellow leaves.
It varies by plant. Some thrive in bright indirect light (like monstera), while others do well in low-light corners (like snake plants). We explain light requirements clearly in each plant care guide.
Very few plants can survive in zero natural light. However, you can use grow lights or choose low-light tolerant varieties like ZZ plants and snake plants. They won’t grow fast, but they can survive.
Yes, but not too often. Most indoor plants benefit from light fertilization during the growing season (spring and summer). Use a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength — and always follow the instructions on the label.
